Tyra Kiki Little stands as a beacon of community leadership and advocacy. Her tenure on the Community Leadership Team for Fairwold Acres-Harlem Heights and her pivotal role in championing South Carolina Bill H*3116, now Act No. 116, showcase her dedication and tenacity. With credentials including an AAS in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force, a BS in Legal Studies from South University, and her ongoing pursuit of an MSW at Walden University, she is committed to improving herself and those around her.
Tyra's commitment to her community runs deep. She grew up in Richland County District 3, lives in Richland County District 3 and is a business owner in Richland County District 3.
Motivated by a lifelong connection to her neighborhood, Tyra seeks election to tackle pressing issues such as expanding senior services, implementing comprehensive youth development programs, economic growth and development, and transparency and community engagement. Drawing on the values instilled during her 20 plus year military career, she prioritizes community connections and actively collaborates with various organizations to address residents' needs.
